Without a moment's hesitation, Ajayraj jumped into the river and began striking the crocodile with a stick. Nearby shepherds and farmers, who had gathered upon hearing the commotion, helped pull both Ajayraj and his injured father to safety. Veerbhan was immediately taken to a community health center and later referred to a hospital in Agra.
