How to Download the AIIMS INI-SS Round 1 Seat Allotment Result:
Candidates can follow these steps to download their seat allotment result:
- Visit the official website: aiimsexams.ac.in.
- Click on the "INI-SS Counselling" link available on the homepage.
- Log in to the "My Page" section using the registered ID and password.
- The Round 1 seat allotment result will be displayed on the screen.
- Download and save the result for future reference.
The INI SS January 2026 Round 1 results will be available on the website in the "My Page" section. To view the results, candidates must log in using the same credentials they used during the application process and other admission-related procedures for the INI SS Doctor of Medicine (DM) and Master of Surgery (MCh) courses for the January 2026 session.
Reporting and Admission Confirmation
Candidates who are allotted seats in the first round of counselling must note the important dates for reporting and admission confirmation. According to the official schedule, candidates can accept their allotted seats and report to the assigned institute from December 30, 2025 (11:00 AM) to January 6, 2026 (6:00 PM). During this period, candidates need to submit the necessary documents and pay the security deposit to confirm their admission.
After logging in, candidates will have to choose one of the following options regarding the allotted seat:
- Option 1: Accept the allotted seat and decide not to participate in further rounds of counselling.
- Option 2: Accept the seat but still wish to participate in the subsequent rounds of counselling.
Seat Allotment Process
The seat allotment process is based on the merit of the candidates who have successfully completed their registration within the stipulated time. The merit list will contain details such as the candidate's roll number, overall rank, INI-SS score, subject, category, and the institute allotted.
AIIMS conducted the INI SS 2026 entrance examination on November 22, 2025, and a total of 3,304 candidates qualified for the counselling process.
Candidates should remember that any seats remaining vacant in the General, Sponsored, or Foreign National categories after this round will be carried forward to the next counselling session. The Round 2 seat allotment result is scheduled to be announced on January 20, 2026, with reporting to colleges taking place from January 21 to January 28, 2026.
