Gulshan Devaiah's New Year: Relaxing with Good Food, Sleep, and Finally Tackling those Scripts.

As 2025 comes to a close, actor Gulshan Devaiah is opting for a refreshingly low-key New Year's celebration, prioritizing personal time and professional preparation. In an interview with IANS, Devaiah shared his simple yet fulfilling plans for New Year's Eve and Day, stating, "I'm planning to spend some quiet time by myself – cooking a good meal, taking long naps, catching up on pending scripts, and finally addressing a few small decisions I've been putting off".

Instead of attending loud parties or adhering to a packed social calendar, the actor is choosing to focus on self-care and career advancement. This approach reflects a growing trend among individuals seeking more meaningful and introspective ways to mark the transition into a new year.

Professionally, Devaiah is gearing up for his first foray into Telugu cinema with the film Maa Inti Bangaram, where he will be sharing screen space with Samantha Ruth Prabhu. He expressed his excitement about the project, stating that he had "always hoped to collaborate with Samantha, and this project arrived at just the right moment". He also told ANS that he is "deeply immersed in preparing for my role in MIB," acknowledging that it is a "demanding part". While remaining tight-lipped about specific details, Devaiah conveyed his commitment to rising to the challenge and delivering a memorable performance.

Gulshan Devaiah has had a successful 2025. His film Kantara: Chapter 1 was a major success. He also garnered appreciation for his web show Perfect Family.

Devaiah's recent web series, Perfect Family, also deserves mention. Directed by Sachin Pathak, the series explores the stigma surrounding therapy in India with a comedic lens. Featuring a talented ensemble cast including Manoj Pahwa, Seema Pahwa, Girija Oak, and Neha Dhupia, Perfect Family revolves around a family forced into therapy and the ensuing chaos.

Gulshan Devaiah is known for his versatile performances in films like Shaitan, Hate Story, and Hunterrr, as well as web series such as Afsos, Duranga, Dahaad, Guns & Gulaabs and Bad Cop. Looking back on his 15-year journey in the film industry, Devaiah said, "It's a good and satisfying journey...I have only become better as an actor and professional". As he steps into the New Year, Gulshan Devaiah's focus on personal well-being and professional development sets a positive example for those seeking a balanced and fulfilling life.
