Vivo X200T India Launch: Confirmed Specs, Features, and Everything We Know So Far

Vivo is set to launch its newest smartphone, the X200T, in India on January 27th at 12 PM IST. The company is advertising the X200T as a device "engineered for travel and real-world photography". The phone will be available through Flipkart, Vivo India's online store, and authorized offline retail outlets.

The Vivo X200T will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset and run on OriginOS 6 based on Android 16. The device is expected to receive five years of Android OS updates and seven years of security patches.

The X200T will feature a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and potentially 5,000 nits of peak brightness. Some sources mention a 1.5K resolution of 2800 x 1260 pixels for the display. The display is co-developed with ZEISS.

For photography, the Vivo X200T will boast a triple rear camera setup with ZEISS optics. This includes a 50MP Sony LYTIA LYT-702 primary sensor with OIS, a 50MP Samsung JN1 ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 50MP Sony LYT-600 periscope telephoto lens. Specific details confirmed by Vivo include a 50MP main camera with an IMX921 sensor and f/1.57 aperture, a 50MP ultra-wide sensor with a JN1 sensor and f/2.0 aperture, and a 50MP telephoto camera with an IMX882 sensor, f/2.57 aperture, and 70mm focal length. The front camera will be 32MP. The camera system will also feature 100x Hyperzoom, 20x Telephoto Macro, and Multi-Focal HD Portrait.

The Vivo X200T is rumored to house a large 6,200mAh battery with 90W wired and 40W wireless charging support. It is also expected to have bypass charging support for gaming.

Other expected features include a 3D ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, eSIM support, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, a USB-C port, and a 4.5K nanofluid VC heat dissipation unit. The phone is also expected to have IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. The phone will come in two colors: Seaside Lilac and Stellar Black.

While the official pricing is yet to be revealed, some reports suggest the Vivo X200T could be priced between ₹50,000 and ₹55,000 in India. However, a tipster suggests a price of ₹59,999 for the 12GB RAM/256GB storage variant and ₹69,999 for the 12GB RAM/512GB model.
