Acclaimed filmmaker SS Rajamouli has lauded Priyanka Chopra Jonas' performance in the trailer for her upcoming film, The Bluff. Rajamouli described her as "unstoppable" and noted her ability to always surprise.

The Bluff, an action thriller set in the 19th-century Caribbean, is scheduled to premiere on Prime Video on February 25, 2026. The film is directed by Frank E. Flowers and produced by AGBO Studios, the banner of the Russo Brothers, along with Amazon MGM Studios. This project marks a reunion between Chopra and Amazon MGM Studios, following their 2023 espionage thriller series Citadel.

The trailer introduces Chopra as a woman named Ercell "Bloody Mary" Bodden, a former pirate living in a remote location with her daughter, attempting to leave her violent past behind her. Their lives are disrupted when armed men attack their hideout, forcing her to protect her child. The trailer depicts a shift from calm domesticity to fierce combat, with Chopra's character initially overwhelmed before unleashing her lethal skills. When her daughter's safety is threatened, her survival instincts kick in, and she retaliates with brutal efficiency.

The film's narrative escalates as a bounty is placed on her head by a feared pirate, played by Karl Urban, increasing the odds against her survival.
