iQOO 15R India Launch Imminent: Unveiling the Date, Price Expectations, and Anticipated Specifications

The iQOO 15R is poised to make its debut in India on February 24, 2026, as confirmed by the company through an X post and social media announcements by iQOO India CEO, Nipun Marya. This launch has been highly anticipated, with iQOO teasing the device for the Indian market for several weeks.

The iQOO 15R is expected to be a performance-focused smartphone, equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset. This chipset is built on a 3nm process. It is speculated to run on Android 16-based OriginOS. The device has appeared on various certification and benchmarking platforms, such as Bluetooth SIG, Geekbench, and SIRIM, with the model number Vivo I2508. These listings suggest the phone will have 8GB of RAM. Some reports suggest it may offer up to 16 GB of LPDDR5x Ultra RAM and a maximum of 1 TB of UFS 4.1 storage.

The smartphone is rumored to be a rebranded version of the iQOO Z11 Turbo, which was launched in China earlier this month. If this is accurate, the iQOO 15R will feature a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate.

In terms of optics, the iQOO 15R is expected to sport a dual rear camera setup, headlined by a 200MP primary sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide lens. For selfies, it may house a 32MP front camera. A teaser image released by iQOO reveals a dual-camera system on the phone's back, housed in a square module with rounded corners, similar to the design of the iQOO 15.

Powering the iQOO 15R could be a substantial 7,600mAh silicon-carbon battery with 100W wired fast charging support. It is also expected to have IP68 and IP69-rated protection against dust and water.

The iQOO 15R will be available for purchase in India via Amazon. While the official pricing is yet to be announced, it is expected to be priced under INR 55,000. Some sources suggest a price of around Rs 45,999. However, another source tips that the iQOO 15R could be priced around Rs 40,000 in India.
