Tottenham Hotspur's Randal Kolo Muani and Wilson Odobert were involved in a car accident on Tuesday afternoon, but are reported to be unharmed. The incident occurred on the M25 motorway in Hertfordshire, between junctions 24 and 25.
Images circulating on social media depicted the aftermath of the crash, showing a damaged Ferrari at the side of the road. According to reports, the vehicle involved belonged to Kolo Muani, with Odobert following behind. The pair were on their way to the airport in preparation for Tottenham's Champions League match against Eintracht Frankfurt.
Tottenham's head coach, Thomas Frank, confirmed the incident, stating that both players were "fine". The accident occurred shortly after midday, and vehicle recovery and clear-up work was completed by 5 pm. Fortunately, no one appears to have been injured in the incident.
Kolo Muani, a French international forward, is currently on loan at Tottenham Hotspur from Paris Saint-Germain. The 27-year-old joined the club on a five-year deal. Odobert, a 21-year-old French attacking midfielder or winger, joined Tottenham from Burnley in August 2024. During his time at Turf Moor, he made 34 appearances in all competitions, scoring five goals.
The accident has sparked concern among Tottenham fans, especially given the proximity to their Champions League tie with Eintracht Frankfurt. Some fans have expressed their relief that both players are safe, while others have lamented the "cursed" nature of the club's season.
Despite the scare, the news that both Kolo Muani and Odobert are unharmed will be a welcome relief to Tottenham, as they prepare for their upcoming match.
