Rani Mukerji's latest action crime thriller, "Mardaani 3," has shown a steady performance at the box office, although it experienced a significant drop on its first Monday. After a promising opening weekend, the film has managed to cross the ₹19.5 crore mark in India.
On its fourth day, "Mardaani 3" earned an estimated ₹2.15 crore net in India. This brings the total domestic box office collection to ₹19.65 crore net. The film, directed by Abhiraj Minawala and backed by Aditya Chopra, had a decent run during its first three days, accumulating ₹17.5 crore.
The day-wise collections for "Mardaani 3" are as follows: Day 1 saw ₹4 crore, Day 2 brought in ₹6.25 crore, and Day 3 contributed ₹7.25 crore. However, Day 4 witnessed a sharp fall, failing to maintain the momentum of the opening weekend. The Hindi occupancy on Monday was reported to be 10.23 percent.
Despite the Monday drop, "Mardaani 3" has managed to pass the ₹19 crore mark. Some reports suggest a slightly lower Day 4 collection of ₹1.45 crore, with projections estimating a close around ₹2 crore, potentially bringing the total to around ₹19 crore.
Globally, "Mardaani 3" has grossed ₹26.82 crore, with ₹20.54 crore from India and ₹6.28 crore from overseas collections. The film has been running across a significant number of shows in India. The average occupancy rates for the initial days were 17.6% on Friday, 26.5% on Saturday, and 33.1% on Sunday, before dropping to 11.0% on Monday.
