On Saturday, September 27, 2025, Punjabi singer Rajvir Jawanda was critically injured in a road accident in Himachal Pradesh. The accident occurred in the Baddi area of Solan district while he was traveling from Baddi to Shimla on his motorcycle. According to reports, he lost control of the motorcycle, resulting in the crash.

Following the accident, Jawanda was immediately taken to Fortis Hospital in Mohali, Punjab. Upon arrival at the hospital's Emergency Department at 1:45 PM, he was assessed by the Emergency and Neurosurgery teams. Doctors confirmed that he sustained severe head and spine injuries and had suffered a cardiac arrest at the Civil Hospital before being transferred. He was immediately put on advanced life support and is currently on a ventilator. His condition remains critical and he is being closely monitored.

News of the accident spread quickly, prompting visits from fellow Punjabi singers Kulwinder Billa and Kanwar Grewal, who came to the hospital to check on Jawanda's condition.

Rajvir Jawanda is a Punjabi singer and actor known for his hit song 'Kali Jawande Di'. He has also appeared in several Punjabi movies.

Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) President expressed his concern on X, praying for Jawanda's swift recovery and for him to continue bringing pride to Punjab through his singing.
