LG Electronics India IPO Details: Price, GMP, Opening Date, and Lot Size Information for Investors

The initial public offering (IPO) of LG Electronics India is set to open for subscription on October 7, 2025, and will close on October 9, 2025. The price band for the IPO has been fixed at ₹1,080 to ₹1,140 per equity share, with a face value of ₹10.

Offer Details

The IPO is entirely an offer for sale (OFS) of 10.18 crore shares by the South Korean parent company, LG Electronics Inc., amounting to ₹11,607 crore. Since the IPO is an OFS, LG Electronics India will not receive any proceeds from the issue. Following the stake sale, the promoter's ownership in LG Electronics India will be reduced to 85%.

The IPO has reserved not more than 50% of the shares for qualified institutional buyers (QIB), not less than 15% for non-institutional investors (NII), and not less than 35% of the offer for retail investors. A portion of shares has also been reserved for eligible employees of the company, who will be offered a discount of ₹108 per share.

Lot Size and Investment

Investors can bid for a minimum of 13 shares and in multiples of 13 thereafter. The minimum investment required for retail investors is ₹14,820 at the upper price band of ₹1,140 per share. For small non-institutional investors (sNII), the minimum lot size is 14 lots (182 shares), amounting to ₹2,07,480. For big non-institutional investors (bNII), the lot size is 68 lots (884 shares), which requires an investment of ₹10,07,760.

The company sells its products to both B2C and B2B customers in India and internationally. It also provides installation, repair, and maintenance services for its products.

The company has two manufacturing facilities located in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, and Pune, Maharashtra. As of March 31, 2025, LG Electronics India has a widespread network including 2 central distribution centers, 23 regional distribution centers, 51 branch offices and is supported by 30,847 sub-dealers. As of June 30, 2025, the company has 1,006 service centers across urban and rural India backed by 13,368 engineers.

Financial Performance

For the fiscal year ended March 31, 2025, LG Electronics India reported a net profit of ₹2,203.3 crore, a 45.8% increase from ₹1,511 crore in the previous fiscal year. Revenue for the same period surged by 14.1% to ₹24,366.6 crore, compared to ₹21,352 crore in the previous year.

IPO Details

The book running lead managers for the IPO are Axis Capital, Citigroup Global, Morgan Stanley India, JPMorgan, and BofA Securities. Kfin Technologies is the registrar for the issue.

Grey Market Premium (GMP)

As of September 30, 2025, the Grey Market Premium (GMP) for LG India IPO was ₹40 per share. However, as of October 1, 2025, the GMP has not started in the grey market.

Market Position

LG Electronics India is the third-largest IPO in 2025, following Tata Capital's ₹15,500 crore issue and HDB Financial Services' ₹12,500 crore issue.
