Vivo X300 India Launch: Unveiling Key Features, Release Date, and What Makes It a Must-Know Phone

The Vivo X300 series is set to launch in India on December 2nd at 12 PM IST, and here are five key things you should know about the upcoming flagship smartphones. The series is expected to include the Vivo X300 and Vivo X300 Pro models.

1. India-Exclusive Color and Design:

Vivo is launching an India-exclusive red color variant for the standard X300 model. Teaser images reveal a sleek design with a 3D glass unibody, a metal frame, and a slim 1.05mm bezel. The X300 Pro will be available in at least two colors: brown and black.

2. Performance and Software:

Both the Vivo X300 and X300 Pro will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset. This 3nm chipset promises flagship-level performance. The phones will run on Android 16-based OriginOS 6, making them the first Vivo devices in India to feature this new UI. Both phones will have support for up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage.

3. Display and Build:

The Vivo X300 features a 6.31-inch flat BOE Q10 Plus LTPO OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. The X300 Pro boasts a larger 6.78-inch flat BOE Q10 Plus LTPO OLED display, also with 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Both devices are expected to have peak brightness of 4,500 nits and IP68/IP69 water and dust resistance. The X300 weighs 190 grams and measures 7.95mm thick, while the X300 Pro weighs 226 grams and is 7.99mm thick.

4. Camera Capabilities:

Both models in the X300 series are confirmed to feature Zeiss-tuned triple rear cameras. The Vivo X300 is expected to feature a 200-megapixel primary sensor with OIS, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens offering 3x optical zoom and 100x digital zoom. The X300 Pro is rumored to sport a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-828 primary sensor with Gimbal-Grade stabilization, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom and 100x digital zoom. Both phones are expected to have a 50-megapixel front camera. The Pro model will also benefit from Vivo's V3+ and VS1 imaging chips for AI enhancements and color processing. Vivo will also launch the Photographer Kit in India, including a 2.35x Telephoto Extender compatible with both X300 and X300 Pro, sold separately.

5. Battery and Charging:

The Vivo X300 is expected to house a 6,040mAh battery, while the X300 Pro may feature a slightly larger 6,510mAh battery. Both phones will support 90W wired fast charging and 40W wireless charging.

While official India prices are yet to be revealed, the Vivo X300 is expected to start around ₹54,700 for the base variant, while the X300 Pro could be priced higher. These devices will compete with the likes of the Oppo X9 series and OnePlus 15.
