The video, shared on Instagram on September 25, shows Biradar DK dressed in festive attire as his mother pours milk over him in a traditional 'Shuddhi' ritual, also known as Abhishekam. This ritual is typically performed for gods and goddesses as a form of purification and new beginning. Following the ritual, Biradar is seen cutting a chocolate cake with "Happy Divorced" written on it, surrounded by cheering family members.
In the caption, Biradar wrote, "Please be happy and celebrate yourself, don't be depressed". He also included the statement, "Single hoon, khush hoon, azad hoon. Meri zindagi, meri rules!", which translates to "I am single, happy, free. My life, my rules!". He further clarified, "120 gram gold aur 18 lakh cash liya nahi diya hu," suggesting that he neither took nor gave 120 grams of gold and INR 18 lakh. However, this claim has not been independently verified. Some reports suggest that he gifted his ex-wife 120 grams of gold and property worth INR 18 lakh.
The video has garnered mixed reactions online. Some viewers applauded Biradar's confidence and positive outlook after his divorce, while others criticized his way of celebrating.
