Bang Yedam's India Debut: An Electrifying Experience and Aspirations to Explore Indian Music's Richness in the Future

Mumbai, November 17, 2025 – South Korean singer-songwriter Bang Yedam recently made his India debut at K-Town 3.0 in Mumbai, expressing his fascination with Indian music and culture. The former member of TREASURE captivated audiences with his emotive vocals and engaging stage presence.

"I've always been very interested in India," Bang Yedam told HT City. "I really love Indian food and have a deep affection for its culture, so I wanted to experience the unique energy of this place in person".

During his visit, Bang Yedam shared his immediate connection with Indian music. "When I arrived at the hotel, I turned on an Indian music channel," he recounted. "Music videos kept playing, and the energy was incredible! It made me think that I'd love to try this genre someday". He even learned to say "Dhanyawaad" to express his gratitude to his Indian fans.

The 23-year-old artist, sometimes referred to as the "Justin Bieber of Korea," grew up surrounded by music, with both his parents involved in the industry. Known for his strong vocals, Bang Yedam actively participates in writing, producing, and arranging his own music, skillfully blending K-pop with R&B influences. "Making the melody is really fun," he said. "I think that's what keeps me doing music — that feeling, that joy".

When asked about his definition of success, Bang Yedam offered an insightful perspective. "For me, success is being able to keep doing what I love, surrounded by good people, and smiling along the way," he explained. "Of course, achieving greater success, earning more money, and gaining recognition are all important — but more than anything, I just want to live happily, staying true to this feeling". He also hinted that his upcoming music would be more personal.

Bang Yedam's debut was part of K-Town 3.0, a K-pop show in Mumbai. The festival also featured performances by Taemin from SHINee and the Super Junior duo D&E.
