Rakesh Poojary, the winner of "Comedy Khiladigalu" Season 3, has tragically passed away at the young age of 33. The popular comedian reportedly died of a heart attack. The incident occurred while he was attending a Mehndi ceremony in the Udupi district. Despite immediate transport to a local hospital, doctors were unable to revive him.

Poojary was a well-known figure in the Kannada entertainment industry, with a flourishing career spanning television, theater, and cinema. He was widely recognized as Vishwaroop. His untimely demise has sent shockwaves through the industry, leaving friends and fans in mourning. Fellow actor and close friend, Shivraj KR Pete, confirmed the news, leaving many in disbelief.

Rakesh Poojary's journey to fame began with his participation in Zee Kannada's "Comedy Khiladigalu". He initially appeared in Season 2 in 2018, where he was part of the runner-up team. His talent and dedication led him to win the third season of the show, catapulting him to stardom. The platform transformed his life, providing him with opportunities to showcase his comedic brilliance.

Poojary's talents extended beyond television, as he also made contributions to the film industry. He appeared in movies such as "Pailwan" and "Itu Entha Preethine Alla". His film debut was in "Whisky Is Risky" (2014). Other film credits include "Canvas" (2015), "Kerebete" (2024), and "Spooky College" (2023). He also acted in Tulu films.

His colleagues remember him as someone who brought laughter to everyone. Despite facing numerous hardships and insults in life, he persevered and won the hearts of many through his humor. Sources indicate that Poojary had been experiencing health issues, including low platelet counts and that he had recently completed shooting for the movie "Kantara" before suffering the heart attack.
