Television actress Dipika Kakar has been diagnosed with a liver tumor and is scheduled to undergo surgery soon. Her husband, Shoaib Ibrahim, shared the news in a recent vlog, expressing both concern and hope.

Shoaib revealed that Dipika had been experiencing stomach pain for several weeks. Initially, they thought it was due to acidity and treated it accordingly. However, when the pain persisted and intensified, they consulted their family doctor. After a series of tests, including a CT scan, doctors discovered a tumor in her liver. Shoaib described the tumor as being the size of a tennis ball.

While further tests are pending, initial reports thankfully show no signs of cancerous cells. However, doctors have advised surgical removal of the tumor, deeming the procedure necessary and serious. Dipika has been admitted to Advanced Hospital for the past three days and has undergone several tests, including a CT scan, sonography, and blood work. She has since been discharged but is expected to return to Kokilaben Hospital for additional diagnostics. It is expected that doctors will soon confirm whether she needs to be readmitted for immediate surgery.

Shoaib also shared the emotional impact this health scare has had on their family, especially their young son, Ruhaan. Ruhaan, who is very close to his mother, has never been away from her, making the situation particularly challenging. The couple is doing their best to comfort him during this difficult time. Shoaib also expressed his worry about Ruhaan, who is still feeding.

Dipika had recently made a comeback to television after four years with "Celebrity MasterChef," but had to leave the show due to health issues. She had previously shared that she experienced severe shoulder pain and swollen lymph nodes while shooting a festive special episode.

Shoaib has requested fans and well-wishers to keep Dipika in their prayers. He emphasized the importance of their support during this tough time. He also requested people who troll them to give them a break and instead pray for Dipika.
