Vibhu Raghave, a well-known television actor recognized for his roles in shows like "Nisha Aur Uske Cousins," "Suvreen Guggal," and "Rhythm," has passed away on June 2nd after a courageous three-year battle with stage four colon cancer. He was diagnosed in early 2022 and had been undergoing treatment since then.

Vibhu's health journey was marked by both immense challenges and unwavering hope. In early 2025, he shared a heartfelt video from the hospital, revealing that the cancer had spread to multiple organs, including his liver, spine, bones, and lungs. Despite the grim prognosis, Vibhu remained optimistic, stating that chemotherapy was the primary treatment and expressing hope that it would shrink the tumors. In February 2024, he underwent a critical surgery to remove the primary tumor, a procedure initially deemed too risky. Vibhu credited his recovery post-surgery to medical care, a strong mindset, and the continuous support he received from those around him.

Throughout his treatment, Vibhu openly shared updates about his condition with his followers on Instagram, documenting the difficulties he faced while also expressing gratitude for the support he received. His transparency and resilience touched many, earning him an outpouring of love and encouragement from fans and industry colleagues alike.

Friends and colleagues in the television industry rallied to support Vibhu, both emotionally and financially. Celebrities like Simple Kaul, Addite Malik, Mohit Malik, Saumya Tandon, Abbas Rizvi, Manini Mishra, Tuhinaa Vohra, Mohsin Khan, and Karanvir Bohra were among those who actively helped raise funds for his treatment. Simple Kaul shared a heartfelt tribute on social media, writing, "You will be missed my dear friend. Love, light, and happiness to you." Addite Malik shared details about his funeral on Instagram Story, inviting his loved ones to be a part of his final journey.

Vibhu's funeral procession will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd, in Mumbai. The procession will begin at 1 PM from 11, Relief Rood, Prakash Nagar, Dnyaneshwar Nagar, Jogeshwari West, Mumbai, Maharashtra 400047.

Vaibhav Kumar Singh Raghave, fondly called Vibhu, is survived by his mother, brother, and sister.
