Aamir Khan, affectionately known as "Mr. Perfectionist" in Bollywood, has been spotted back in Mumbai with his girlfriend, Gauri Spratt. The couple's arrival at the Mumbai airport was captured on video and has quickly gone viral, generating considerable buzz among fans and media outlets.
Aamir Khan and Gauri Spratt were seen at the Mumbai airport. Aamir was seen wearing a printed kurta with denim, while Gauri wore a white floral kurta. It seemed as though the couple was returning to Mumbai.
Aamir Khan officially introduced Gauri to the media earlier this year on his 60th birthday, although they reconnected a couple of years ago. They had met 25 years prior, and have been together for around 18 months. Gauri is from Bengaluru, has been married, and has a six-year-old son. The couple made their first public appearance together at the Macau International Comedy Festival in China.
Recently, Aamir Khan has openly discussed finding love again after his divorce from Kiran Rao in 2021. He revealed that he had almost given up on the prospect of finding a partner, but his perspective shifted after undergoing therapy. In a candid conversation, Aamir shared that therapy helped him realize the importance of self-love and emotional well-being.
Aamir was quoted as saying, "Before I met Gauri, I felt like I had aged… Who will I find at this age?". He further added, "Gauri and I met by mistake. We connected, became friends… and love happened.” Aamir's sister, Nikhat Hegde, has also expressed her happiness for the couple, stating that the family is very pleased with their relationship.
On the professional front, Aamir Khan is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film, "Sitaare Zameen Par," scheduled to hit theaters on June 20, 2025. The film is being described as a spiritual sequel to his earlier film "Taare Zameen Par". The film also stars Genelia Deshmukh. Furthermore, Aamir's mother, Zeenat Khan, will make a cameo appearance in "Sitaare Zameen Par". Aamir expressed his delight and shock when his 90-year-old mother agreed to be part of the film. The film will also feature 10 neurodivergent actors.
