Snoop Dogg and Shante Broadus are celebrating 28 years of marriage. The couple, who are high school sweethearts, marked the special occasion on Saturday, June 14, 2025, with loving tributes to each other on social media.

Snoop, 53, posted a photo of himself and Shante on the red carpet to his Instagram account, adding a blue heart emoji and tagging his wife. Shante, also 53, shared a carousel of photos on her own Instagram, including a throwback picture from their early years together. She captioned the post, "Happy Anniversary @snoopdogg Thank You For All You Do #28."

Their love story began at Long Beach Polytechnic High School in California, where they met as teenagers. They even attended prom together in 1989. The couple officially tied the knot in June 1997 at the Ritz-Carlton in Marina Del Rey, California.

Snoop and Shante briefly separated in 2004 but later rekindled their relationship and renewed their vows in 2008. Speaking with People Magazine last year, Snoop shared his feelings about his wife. "She understands me," he said. "She's a great mother, a tremendous grandmother, an excellent wife, and a great friend." He added, "She knows how to push all of my buttons to make me act a m***** fool or to make me act cool, and I love it."

The rapper also shared some insights into maintaining a long and happy marriage. In a recent interview, Snoop advised, "Find out what your companion loves the most and concentrate on doing it the most. That's real love." He emphasized the importance of taking their marriage vows seriously, stating, "We married 'til death do us part. Ain't that what it say? Not 'til arguments do us part or fighting or finances, but 'til death do us part."

Over the years, Shante has been a constant source of support for Snoop, allowing him the space to pursue his many endeavors. Snoop has often expressed his gratitude for her unwavering presence in his life. "I'm a loving, caring, providing husband.
