Automation Anywhere is witnessing a surge in demand for its agentic process automation (APA) solutions in India, according to Ankur Kothari, the company's Co-founder and COO. This increased interest stems from a growing recognition among Indian companies, including global capability centers (GCCs), Indian corporates, IT service providers, and public sector units, of the transformative potential of AI-powered automation. The company has seen a 100% QoQ growth for its AI agents and it has so far deployed over 1,500 AI agents globally.

Traditionally, much of the AI-led growth in India came from GCCs. However, in the last five to seven years, Indian corporates have become equally active in exploring and implementing AI solutions. This shift indicates a maturing market where Indian boardrooms are now prioritizing automation and AI initiatives to drive efficiency, improve customer experiences, and unlock new revenue streams.

To meet this rising demand, Automation Anywhere is expanding its teams in India and integrating AI deeper into its service offerings. The company recognizes India's strong developer ecosystem as a key driver of innovation, with many of the platform's advancements originating from its Indian talent pool. In fact, nearly 50% of Automation Anywhere's workforce is based in India, highlighting the country's strategic importance to the company's global operations.

A key component of Automation Anywhere's APA platform is the Process Reasoning Engine (PRE), an AI engine designed to understand enterprise context and dynamically drive outcomes. The company claims PRE is an industry-first and enables agentic orchestration across multiple vendors, thereby enhancing cross-platform collaboration. This technology enables AI agents to autonomously plan, execute, and learn, marking a significant leap in enterprise automation.

Automation Anywhere's APA platform can automate up to 80% of enterprise operations by combining cognitive AI agents with deterministic automation. These agents are designed to be highly active, making decisions, learning from results, and refining their performance in real-time. The platform also incorporates enterprise-grade security and governance features, such as personally identifiable information (PII) data masking, AI guardrails, and real-time monitoring, ensuring responsible and secure AI implementation. Customer data is not used to train any of the underlying AI models.

The company has launched pre-built agentic solutions and a new agentic solutions workspace which enables business users to interact with and create agents through a natural language interface. The first solutions launched support for accounts payable, customer support, banking, and healthcare. Each solution offers a customizable, domain-specific workspace equipped with an intuitive conversational automation co-pilot.

Automation Anywhere's agentic solutions are designed to address these challenges by providing AI solutions that are customer validated, pre-built, and ready to scale, improving customer success and speeding time-to-market. Industries showing higher traction include banking, financial services and insurance (BFSI), healthcare, and manufacturing.
