Arsenal are making moves in the transfer market, targeting both midfield reinforcements and a new backup goalkeeper. Arsenal's interest in Nørgaard comes as they look to bolster their midfield options. With Jorginho's departure to Flamengo and Thomas Partey's future uncertain, the Gunners are looking for experienced players to add depth to their squad. Partey's contract expires at the end of June, and it seems increasingly likely that he will leave the Emirates as a free agent. Kepa, who was once the world's most expensive goalkeeper when he joined Chelsea from Athletic Bilbao for £72 million in 2018, spent last season on loan at Bournemouth. Kepa's arrival addresses Arsenal's need for a reliable second-choice goalkeeper after Neto's return to Bournemouth following his loan spell. Kepa's experience at the highest level, including Champions League and La Liga titles with Real Madrid, makes him a valuable addition to the squad. Some have suggested that securing Arrizabalaga for such a low fee could be "the deal of the century" for Arsenal, providing strong cover for Raya. While Raya is expected to remain the first-choice goalkeeper, Kepa's presence will ensure that Arsenal have a quality option available if needed.
