Vivo is gearing up to launch two highly anticipated smartphones in India: the Vivo X200 FE and the Vivo X Fold 5. The launch is set for July 14th at 12 PM IST, and the devices will be available for purchase on the Vivo India e-store and Flipkart.

Vivo X200 FE

The Vivo X200 FE is touted as a compact device with high-end specifications. It's expected to compete with the likes of the iPhone 16, Nothing Phone 3, and OnePlus 13s.

Key Features and Specifications (Expected):

  • Design: The phone will have a sleek design with a 7.99mm profile and weigh around 186g. The Indian variant of the Vivo X200 FE is expected to come in Amber Yellow, Frost Blue, and Luxe Grey color options.
  • Display: It will likely sport a 6.31-inch 1.5K LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. The display is also expected to feature HDR10+ and up to 5000 nits of peak brightness.
  • Processor: The device is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+.
  • Memory: It will likely have 12GB of RAM and potentially 256GB or 512GB of internal storage.
  • Cameras: The smartphone will feature a Zeiss-branded triple rear camera setup, including a 50MP primary sensor, a 50MP telephoto shooter, and an 8MP ultrawide unit. A 50MP front camera is also expected.
  • Battery: A substantial 6,500mAh battery with 90W wired fast charging support is expected.
  • Durability: The Vivo X200 FE is claimed to meet IP68+IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.
  • Operating System: The smartphone will run on Android 15-based FuntouchOS 15.
  • Other Features: The device may also have dual SIM support, an in-display optical fingerprint sensor, USB Type-C audio, and stereo speakers.

Vivo X Fold 5

The Vivo X Fold 5 is a book-style foldable smartphone that was unveiled in China in June. The Indian version is expected to share similar features with its Chinese counterpart.

  • Design: The Indian variant is teased to be "ultra slim" and "ultra light". When folded, the device will measure 9.2mm in thickness, and when opened, it will measure just 4.3mm. The weight is expected to be around 217g.
  • Display: The smartphone packs two displays - an 8.03-inch foldable display and a 6.53-inch cover screen. The primary display is an 8.03-inch 2K+ 8T LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 4,500 nits of peak brightness. The cover display is a 6.53-inch Full HD+ LTPO AMOLED display with the same 120Hz refresh rate and 4,500 nits of peak brightness.
  • Processor: The foldable is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset in India.
  • Cameras: It will feature a Zeiss-backed triple rear camera unit, including a 50MP Sony IMX921 VCS Bionic primary sensor with OIS, a 50MP Sony IMX882 telephoto shooter with OIS, and a 50MP Samsung JN1 sensor paired with an ultrawide angle lens. On the front, there could be a 20MP front-facing shooter for selfies and video calls.
  • Battery: The device will pack a 6,000mAh battery with 80W wired fast charging and 40W wireless charging.
  • Operating System: The Indian models of the Vivo X Fold 5 will run Android 15-based Funtouch OS 15.
  • Other Features The smartphone may also feature AI Image Expander, AI Magic Move, AI Erase, and AI Reflection Erase.
