The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bhubaneswar has announced the release of the first admission list for its Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) for the academic session 2025-26. The list, which was released on July 4, 2025, marks the beginning of a four-round seat allocation process for the four-year B.Sc. B.Ed. (Secondary Stage) dual degree program.

Candidates who applied for the ITEP program and participated in the National Common Entrance Test (NCET) 2025 can now check their selection status and proceed with the admission procedures. The first round admission list is available in PDF format on the official website, itep.iitbbs.ac.in.

The initial admission list includes candidates who have been offered provisional seats in one of the four major disciplines under the ITEP program: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Economics. Shortlisting is based on NCET 2025 scores and eligibility criteria, including marks obtained in Class 12th subjects relevant to the chosen discipline. To secure their seat, candidates whose names appear on the list must pay the seat booking fee by July 6, 2025, at 11:59 PM. Failure to do so will result in automatic cancellation of the allotted seat.

IIT Bhubaneswar has announced the schedule for the remaining admission rounds:

  • Second Admission List: July 7, 2025
  • Deadline for Seat Booking (Round 2): July 9, 2025 (11:59 PM)
  • Third Admission List: July 10, 2025
  • Deadline for Withdrawal (Round 3): July 12, 2025 (11:59 PM)
  • Fourth Admission List: July 14, 2025
  • Final Seat Booking Deadline (Round 4): July 16, 2025 (11:59 PM)

Depending on the number of vacant seats after Round 4, further rounds may be conducted.

The IIT Bhubaneswar ITEP allotment list 2025 contains several important details, including the application number, roll number, name, allotted program, and allotted category of each candidate.

The ITEP program offers a combination of Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) with Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.), Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) with B.Ed., and Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) with B.Ed. degrees. Admission to the program is based on marks obtained in the NCET 2025, and meeting minimum eligibility requirements.

For the general and EWS categories, the minimum required marks in Class 12 are 60%. The requirement is 55% for OBC-NCL, and 50% for SC, ST, and PwD categories.
