How to Check the JoSAA Round 4 Seat Allotment Result:
- Visit the Official Website: Go to josaa.nic.in.
- Find the Result Link: Look for the link specifically designated for the "JoSAA Round 4 Seat Allotment Result 2025" on the homepage.
- Enter Credentials: A new page will appear, prompting you to enter your JEE Main 2025 application number and password.
- View and Download: After submitting the details, the seat allotment result will be displayed on the screen. Verify the information and download the page for future reference. It is advisable to take a printout of the allotment letter.
Important Dates and Procedures:
- Online Reporting: Candidates who have been allotted a seat in Round 4 must complete the online reporting process between July 6 and July 9, 2025.
- Seat Acceptance Fee (SAF): To confirm their admission, candidates need to pay the seat acceptance fee by July 9. The fee varies based on the candidate's category. For SC, ST, GEN-PwD, GEN-EWS-PwD, OBC-NCL-PwD, SC-PwD, or ST-PwD candidates, the SAF is INR 1,500. For all other categories, the fee is INR 30,000.
- Withdrawal/Exit Option: Candidates who wish to withdraw their allotted seat or exit the seat allocation process can do so between July 7 and July 9, 2025.
- Resolution of Issues: The final deadline for resolving any pending fee payment issues and responding to outstanding queries for Round 4 is July 10, 2025.
What to Do After Seat Allotment:
If a seat has been allotted, candidates must confirm their seat and complete the online reporting processes. This includes paying the seat acceptance fee to proceed with document verification and seat confirmation.
Choices Available to Candidates:
- Freeze: If satisfied with the allotted seat, candidates can choose to freeze their option, indicating they do not wish to participate in further rounds.
- Float: Candidates who accept the seat but are open to higher-preference choices (course and institute) in the upcoming rounds can opt for the float option.
- Slide: If candidates accept the seat but are open to upgrading to a higher-preference branch within the same institute, they can select the slide option.
The JoSAA conducts six rounds of seat allocation based on the student's merit, category, selected preferences, and seat availability.
