Early Monday morning, a significant fire broke out at a paper factory located in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. Fire tenders were immediately dispatched to the scene to combat the blaze. As of the latest reports, there have been no casualties or injuries reported.

Upon receiving news of the fire, multiple fire tenders rushed to the site and began efforts to extinguish the flames. Visuals from the scene depict the factory engulfed in fire, with smoke and flames rising from the infrastructure. Firefighting operations are currently underway. According to ETV Bharat, 18 fire trucks are at the scene.

The cause of the fire is currently unknown and is under investigation. Local authorities and the fire department have initiated relief and rescue operations. Police have cordoned off the surrounding areas to ensure the safety of workers and prevent any untoward incidents.

This incident follows another fire in Ghaziabad just three months prior, where a fire broke out at an incense stick factory in Mohan Nagar. Fortunately, there were no casualties in that fire, which required 12 fire vehicles from neighboring districts to contain. In March 2025, a boiler blast at a paper mill in Ghaziabad resulted in the deaths of three workers.

In light of these recent events, authorities may face increased scrutiny regarding safety regulations and enforcement within industrial areas. It is anticipated that investigations will delve into potential lapses in safety protocols that could have contributed to the fire. These investigations may lead to stricter regulations and increased oversight to prevent future incidents.

The incident serves as a stark reminder of the importance of robust safety measures in industrial settings. Ensuring regular safety audits, maintaining updated fire safety equipment, and providing comprehensive training to employees are crucial steps in mitigating the risk of such incidents.

Further details on the Ghaziabad paper factory fire are awaited as firefighting operations continue and investigations proceed.
