Realme is gearing up to launch its Realme 15 series in India on July 24. The launch will include the Realme 15 5G and Realme 15 Pro 5G models. It appears the company is skipping the Pro+ variant this time around.

The company has also announced that Bollywood actor Vicky Kaushal will be the new smartphone ambassador. The partnership will commence with the “Live for real” campaign. The brand believes that Kaushal's public image and popularity among Gen Z and millennials are a suitable fit for the brand's identity.

A dedicated Flipkart microsite has already gone live, confirming the design and teasing key features. The Realme 15 series is being presented as a major upgrade, promising a faster chip, bolder design, brighter display, slimmer body, clearer camera, bigger battery life, and smarter AI.

The Realme 15 series is targeting young, socially active users who seek a balance between style and performance. Realme aims to reinforce its identity and connection with this demographic through innovative features and bold design choices.

One of the main highlights is the introduction of a new AI-powered tool called AI Edit Genie, a voice-led photo editing assistant that allows users to modify images based on spoken prompts. For instance, users can ask the AI to transform a regular photo into a party scene by adding balloons or changing outfits. The Realme 15 series is also confirmed to feature AI Party.

The Realme 15 and 15 Pro will be available in Flowing Silver, Velvet Green, and Silk Purple color options. The new models feature a redesigned rear panel with a glass-like camera module housing three rear cameras arranged in two circular units, accompanied by a third smaller ring. The power button and volume rocker are placed on the right side of the frame. The front also appears slightly curved.

The Realme 15 Pro 5G may feature a 50-megapixel main rear camera. It is expected to offer an in-display fingerprint sensor and come in configurations of up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. The Realme 15 Pro will incorporate flagship features previously exclusive to the “Plus” line of Realme smartphones. It is teased to feature a triple rear camera setup, dual LED flash, and an RGB LED light ring around the camera module. Rumors suggest the Realme 15 Pro will be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC. The device is likely to launch in India with a starting price of around Rs 25,000.

The vanilla Realme 15 5G is expected to offer similar memory options and might carry a price tag between Rs 18,000 and Rs 20,000. The base Realme 15 5G model may feature a dual rear camera setup. Previous leaks have suggested that the phone may be available in Flowing Silver, Silk Pink, and Velvet Green color options.
