The autopsy report of 25-year-old Radhika Yadav, a state-level tennis player, reveals that she was shot four times in the chest. This contradicts initial reports and the First Information Report (FIR), which stated that she was shot three times in the back. The bullets were recovered during the postmortem examination.

Radhika was allegedly murdered by her father, Deepak Yadav, at their residence in Gurugram. The incident occurred on Thursday morning around 10:30 am. Deepak Yadav has confessed to the crime and is currently in police custody. A Gurugram court has sent Deepak Yadav to one-day police custody.

According to police reports, Deepak Yadav used his licensed .32 bore revolver in the crime. He allegedly fired five rounds, with four bullets striking Radhika. Initial reports indicated that three bullets hit her in the back. However, the autopsy revealed a different account, stating that four bullets hit her chest. At the time of the incident, Radhika's mother, Manju Yadav, was present on the same floor but claimed to be unaware of the motive, stating she was resting in her room due to a fever.

The investigation is ongoing, with authorities exploring all possible angles. A primary motive being investigated is a dispute over Radhika's tennis academy. Radhika's father was reportedly unhappy with her running the academy. Some reports suggest that Deepak Yadav was upset and felt taunted because he was financially dependent on his daughter's income. He was allegedly taunted by locals over his daughter's income and had asked her to stop working at the academy.

Other potential motives are also under investigation, including Radhika's involvement in a music video and her social media activity. A music video featuring Radhika, titled "Karwaan," was released in 2024, and police are examining whether this played a role in the conflict at home. Some reports indicate that Radhika's parents objected to a reel she had made about her game and coaching, leading her to delete her account. Police are investigating if Deepak was upset over Radhika's Instagram reels, and a possible affair.

Radhika Yadav was a promising tennis player who had achieved success at the state level and was climbing up the ranks internationally in the doubles category. She was also coaching at a private academy and individually teaching high-profile clients. Her sudden death has shocked the community, with many expressing disbelief and sadness.

Radhika's uncle, Kuldeep Yadav, stated that he rushed to the crime scene after hearing gunshots. He and his son took Radhika to a private hospital, where she was declared dead. Kuldeep Yadav filed the FIR in the case.

The police have seized Deepak Yadav's licensed revolver and are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding Radhika's death. The investigation aims to uncover the complete picture behind the murder, considering family dynamics, professional life, and potential external factors.
