Radhika's father was reportedly unhappy with her running the academy. Some reports suggest that Deepak Yadav was upset and felt taunted because he was financially dependent on his daughter's income. He was allegedly taunted by locals over his daughter's income and had asked her to stop working at the academy.

Other potential motives are also under investigation, including Radhika's involvement in a music video and her social media activity. A music video featuring Radhika, titled "Karwaan," was released in 2024, and police are examining whether this played a role in the conflict at home. Some reports indicate that Radhika's parents objected to a reel she had made about her game and coaching, leading her to delete her account. Police are investigating if Deepak was upset over Radhika's Instagram reels, and a possible affair.
