Ahead of the release of "Special Ops 2" on July 18, 2025, key members of the cast and crew have been actively engaging with significant institutions, offering a glimpse into the world of espionage and national security that the series explores.

On Tuesday, July 15, 2025, actors Kay Kay Menon, Parmeet Sethi, along with Karan Tacker and director Shivam Nair, visited the Rashtrapati Bhavan in Delhi. The team witnessed the Change of Guard ceremony, a display of ceremonial precision and tradition. The Rashtrapati Bhavan, with its grand architecture and constitutional weight, symbolizes the intersection of power and protocol, mirroring the themes explored in "Special Ops 2".

Kay Kay Menon, who reprises his role as intelligence officer Himmat Singh, expressed that being present at the Rashtrapati Bhavan felt surreal and aligned with the world of "Special Ops 2". Karan Tacker, who plays field agent Farooq Ali, found the experience equally surreal, noting the grandeur, discipline, and energy of the moment. Director Shivam Nair reflected on the experience as a reminder of the discipline and tradition that uphold the country's functioning. Parmeet Sethi spoke with appreciation, acknowledging the deep power of stepping into Rashtrapati Bhavan.

Earlier in the day, Kay Kay Menon, Parmeet Sethi, and Shivam Nair visited the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C) in Delhi. They engaged in discussions about cybercrime with Shri Rajesh Kumar, CEO of I4C, along with Directors Nishant Kumar and Roopa M.

"Special Ops 2" is produced by Friday Storytellers and created by Neeraj Pandey. The series aims to redefine modern-day espionage and is set to release on July 18, 2025, on JioHotstar.
