A shocking crime has emerged from Haryana's Nuh district, where a teenager allegedly murdered a 7-year-old boy in a brutal act of revenge. The 15 or 16-year-old suspect, whose name has not been released, is accused of stabbing Ashish Kumar multiple times with a pair of scissors. The motive behind the gruesome act appears to be humiliation stemming from a prior incident of mobile phone theft.
Reportedly, the younger boy had informed his father about the theft of his mobile phone by the teenager. This led to the teenager and his father being compelled to apologize. Fueled by resentment, the teenager allegedly lured Ashish away from his home on Saturday and stabbed him 18-20 times with scissors. The victim's body, bearing multiple injury marks on his chest and forehead, was discovered by villagers on Sunday morning near the Kundli-Manesar-Palwal (KMP) Expressway. The blood-stained scissors, believed to be the murder weapon, were found nearby.
In a disturbing twist, the accused allegedly joined the search party looking for the missing child, feigning concern and attempting to mislead the family. However, the victim's father grew suspicious, which led to police questioning the teenager, who eventually confessed to the crime.
The Gurugram police spokesperson stated that the murder was planned and executed to avenge the humiliation suffered after being caught stealing. An FIR has been registered, and the accused is expected to be presented before the Juvenile Justice Board. The child's body has been sent for post-mortem examination.
The incident has sent shockwaves through Kalwadi village, with police describing it as one of the most brutal child murders in recent years. The police investigation is ongoing, with forensic analysis being conducted to establish a complete timeline of events. The accused has been booked under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code. This horrific crime serves as a stark reminder of the devastating consequences of petty theft and the importance of addressing anger and resentment in adolescents.
