Kathrin Hendrich's red card suspension and Sarai Linder's ankle injury sustained against France have depleted their defensive resources. Giulia Gwinn is also out with a knee injury. Linder sustained a capsular ligament injury to her left ankle in a tussle during the match against France. She attempted to continue playing with a bandage but was eventually forced to leave the game.
