Two people died and several others were injured in a stampede-like situation near Barabanki's Awsaneshwar Temple in Uttar Pradesh early Monday morning. The incident occurred at the historic Avshaaneshwar Mahadev Temple during the third Monday of the Sawan month.
According to Barabanki Police, the chaos started when a monkey pulled an electric wire, causing it to fall on a tin shed. This created a panic among the devotees, leading to a stampede.
