Ashwin Kumar's Mahavatar Narsimha Solid Box Office Run: Day 4 Earnings Reach a Strong Rs 22 Crore.

The Ashwin Kumar-directed animated mythological film, "Mahavatar Narsimha," has performed well at the box office, exceeding expectations and surprising many. By the end of its fourth day in theaters, early estimates suggest the movie has grossed around ₹22 crore in India.

The film's opening day saw a modest ₹1.35 crore in collections, followed by ₹3.25 crore on the second day. "Mahavatar Narsimha" experienced substantial growth over the weekend, earning ₹6.75 crore on Sunday, which brought the total opening weekend collection to ₹11.25 crore.

On its fourth day, a Monday, "Mahavatar Narsimha" continued to perform well, bucking the usual trend of weekday drops. The movie has collected ₹6.15 crore on its fourth day for all languages. In Hindi, the film saw a jump of 23% on Monday, collecting ₹4 crore plus and bringing the total collections to ₹15.50 crore.

The Kannada occupancy on Monday was 59.10%, while Hindi and Tamil occupancies were 32.99% and 15.98%, respectively.

Hombale Films, known for backing hits like the "KGF" series and "Kantara," produced "Mahavatar Narsimha". The film's success has revitalized the animation genre in India. Hombale Films has announced plans for a cinematic universe of seven "Mahavatar" animated films.

"Mahavatar Narsimha" is an example of how positive word-of-mouth can propel a film's success. Given its current trajectory, the movie is expected to collect ₹30-35 crore by the end of its first week.
