The 20th installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan) scheme is expected to be released on August 2, 2025. According to the Ministry of Agriculture, the funds will be transferred directly to the farmers' bank accounts from Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, during an event attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The PM-Kisan scheme, launched in February 2019, aims to provide financial assistance to small and marginal farmers in India. Under this scheme, eligible farmers receive ₹6,000 annually, disbursed in three equal installments of ₹2,000 every four months. The funds are directly transferred to the beneficiaries' Aadhaar-linked bank accounts through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).

As the 20th installment approaches, farmers are advised to check their beneficiary status online. To check the PM Kisan beneficiary status, farmers can visit the official PM Kisan website and navigate to the "Beneficiary Status" page. They can then enter their Aadhaar number or account number to view their payment status.

It is important to note that only farmers who have completed their e-KYC, verified their land records, and linked their Aadhaar to their bank accounts will be eligible to receive the 20th installment. Failure to complete these steps may result in delays or non-receipt of the installment.

To complete e-KYC, farmers can visit the official PM-KISAN portal or the nearest Common Service Centre (CSC). Alternatively, they can use the PM Kisan mobile app, which offers face authentication-based e-KYC.

The PM Kisan scheme has benefited over 10 crore farmers across the country. The government has disbursed significant amounts to farmers through this scheme, with the aim of enhancing their income and supporting their agricultural needs.

Here's a step-by-step guide to check the PM Kisan beneficiary status:

  1. Visit the official PM Kisan website.
  2. Go to the 'Farmers Corner' section on the homepage.
  3. Click on the "Beneficiary Status" option.
  4. Enter your Aadhaar Number or Account Number or Mobile number.
  5. Enter the captcha code.
  6. Click on the "Get Data" button.
  7. Your beneficiary status, including payment details, will be displayed.

If you are a registered farmer and have not received the previous installments, ensure that you have completed your e-KYC, land verification, and Aadhaar linking. In case of any discrepancies, contact the PM Kisan helpline for assistance.
