Akon, the Senegalese-American singer and songwriter known for hits like "Smack That" and "Chammak Challo," has announced a three-city tour in India for November 2025. The tour, spearheaded by White Fox with Percept Live as a co-producer, will take place in Delhi on November 9, Bengaluru on November 14, and Mumbai on November 16.

Akon expressed his excitement about returning to India, stating that it feels like a "second home" to him. He added, "The energy, the culture, the fans… it's on another level. I'm beyond excited to be back and perform live for y'all. This tour is gonna be something special — let's make history together!".

Aman Kumar, co-founder of White Fox, echoed the sentiment, stating, "Bringing Akon back to India is a celebration. This is the night fans have been waiting for. We promise an extravagant experience that will be remembered for years to come". The organizers are promising a high-voltage production that will take fans on a journey through Akon's global reign, fusing nostalgia with the adrenaline of a full-scale live arena experience.

This isn't Akon's first time performing in India. He has previously performed at the Shillong Cherry Blossom Festival and Anant Ambani's pre-wedding bash, where he sang "Chammak Challo" while Shah Rukh Khan and Radhika Merchant danced on stage. In February 2025, videos surfaced of Akon performing at Sara Ali Khan's friend's wedding in Mumbai.

Tickets for the Akon India tour are highly anticipated. HSBC cardholders will have early access to tickets starting August 8 at 1 PM, while general sales will begin on August 10 at 10 PM, exclusively on the District app by Zomato.

Akon's tour promises to be an electrifying experience for fans, featuring chart-topping songs from his extensive catalog. From "Right Now (Na Na Na)" to "Don't Matter," the tour is set to ignite fond memories and create new ones. In addition to Akon, Grammy-winning singer Enrique Iglesias is also scheduled to perform in Mumbai later this year, marking his return to India after 13 years.
