The release date for "Heer Express," starring Divita Juneja, has been pushed back to September 12, 2025. The film was originally scheduled to premiere on August 8, 2025.

Directed by Umesh Shukla, known for his work on "OMG: Oh My God!" and "102 Not Out," "Heer Express" features debutante Divita Juneja as Heer Walia, alongside Pritt Kamani, Ashutosh Rana, Gulshan Grover, Sanjay Mishra, and Meghna Malik. The film revolves around Heer, a young woman pursuing her dreams while carrying the weight of a legacy. She plays a young chef striving to fulfill her mother's dream by moving abroad. Pritt Kamani plays her love interest.

The decision to postpone the release date was made to avoid clashing with major releases like "War 2" and "Andaaz 2". The filmmakers opted for a more strategic release date to allow their "heartfelt story to find its audience without being overshadowed by franchise heavyweights".

"Heer Express" promises to be a family dramedy with a blend of humor, love, and generational conflict. The film was shot extensively across India and the UK. Umesh Shukla's previous films have resonated with audiences across demographics, and "Heer Express" seems poised to do the same.

The film is produced by Umesh Shukla, Ashish Wagh, Mohit Chhabra, and Sanjay Grover, with Sampada Wagh co-producing.
