Jamshedpur FC is currently at a crucial point in the season, having advanced to the knockout stage of the Durand Cup 2025 after a perfect group phase with three wins in three matches. Dias's immediate focus will be to prepare the team for the quarterfinals and maintain the momentum.
Before joining Jamshedpur FC, Steven Dias served as the head coach of Ambernath United, where he guided the team to the final round of the I-League Second Division. Under his leadership, the club secured back-to-back undefeated Mumbai FA Elite Division titles in 2022 and 2023, as well as consecutive Mumbai Women's League titles. Dias also coached the Maharashtra Santosh Trophy team, leading them to the final round of the 2022-23 season and achieving the highest goal-scoring record in the tournament.
Prior to his role at Ambernath United, Dias was an Assistant Coach at Odisha FC and previously worked at Jamshedpur FC as an Indian Assistant Coach for the senior team during the 2019-20 season.
As a player, Steven Dias had a successful career, representing clubs such as Air India, Mahindra United, Mumbai FC, Bharat FC, and Delhi Dynamos in the Hero ISL.
