In a brazen act, thieves targeted the residence of a retired Justice in Indore, making off with valuables worth lakhs in a heist that lasted a mere four minutes and ten seconds. The incident occurred at the home of retired Justice Ramesh Garg, located in Pragati Park Colony.
The crime took place in the early hours of Sunday when three criminals entered the house at 4:35 AM. The entire incident was captured on CCTV. The family remained unaware of the intrusion, as the alarm system failed to rouse Justice Garg's son, Ritvik.
Reports indicate the thieves stole cash exceeding Rs 5 lakh along with gold and silver jewelry. The criminals specifically targeted the almirahs, swiftly clearing out the valuables before making their escape. One of the thieves stood guard with a rod near the Justice's sleeping son, ready to strike if he awoke.
