Jessica Hines is a British journalist and author who has recently found herself in the spotlight following claims made by Faissal Khan, the brother of Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan. Faissal alleged that Aamir had an affair with Hines in the late 1990s and early 2000s, resulting in a child born out of wedlock. These allegations have revived long-standing rumors about Hines's connection to Aamir Khan, though neither party has ever confirmed them.

Hines is best known for her work as a journalist and her book, Looking for The Big B: Bollywood, Bachchan and Me. Published in 2007, the book explores Bollywood through the lens of Amitabh Bachchan's stardom. Over the years, she has written extensively about Indian cinema and culture, establishing herself as a keen observer of the industry. Hines is also the Co-Founder and Managing Director of Fingerprint Content, a company that develops stories focused on entertainment, politics, and planetary care. According to Fingerprint Content's website, Hines has over two decades of experience in the UK, US, and Indian film industries and has collaborated with influential cultural figures.

According to reports, Hines came to India in the late 1990s while working on Amitabh Bachchan's biography. It was during this time that she reportedly met Aamir Khan during the making of his film Ghulam (1998). In 2005, Stardust magazine published a story alleging that Aamir and Jessica were in a live-in relationship. The report further claimed that Hines became pregnant and gave birth to a son named Jaan in the early 2000s, despite Aamir Khan allegedly wanting her to terminate the pregnancy.

Faissal Khan's recent allegations have reignited these old rumors. He claimed that Aamir had a relationship with Hines while married to his first wife, Reena Dutta, and that Aamir was living with Kiran Rao at the time. Faissal stated that he mentioned this in a letter to his family during a period of conflict.

Neither Aamir Khan nor Jessica Hines have ever publicly addressed these rumors. Aamir has maintained silence on the matter, neither confirming nor denying the claims. Reportedly, Jessica Hines married London-based businessman William Talbot in 2007. In an interview, Hines mentioned that Talbot has been a supportive figure in raising her son.

Pictures of Hines's son, Jaan, reportedly surfaced in British Vogue in 2012, sparking debate about the child's resemblance to Aamir Khan. Some reports claim that Hines shared the Vogue photo on Twitter with the caption "Jaan in Vogue".

Aamir Khan has three children from his previous marriages: Junaid, Ira, and Azad Rao Khan. He was married to Reena Dutta from 1986 to 2002, and they have two children, Junaid and Ira. Aamir was married to Kiran Rao from 2005 to 2021, and they have a son, Azad Rao Khan, who was born through surrogacy. Aamir Khan is currently reportedly dating Gauri Spratt.

As of August 19, 2025, the claims regarding Aamir Khan and Jessica Hines remain unverified, and Aamir Khan has not commented publicly on the matter.
