High-Speed Car on Delhi-Meerut Expressway Strikes Police Officer, Launching Him Skyward: Shocking Video Footage

A traffic policeman, identified as Vipin Kumar, is in critical condition after being struck by a speeding car on the Delhi-Meerut Expressway. The incident occurred on Friday evening around 6:18 PM while the officer was on duty in Vijaynagar.

CCTV footage of the incident has surfaced, showing the horrific moment of impact. The video shows Vipin standing near the divider when he noticed the speeding car heading towards him. He attempted to move out of the way, but the car hit him at high speed. The force of the impact sent him flying several feet into the air. The car did not stop and fled the scene immediately after the incident. Another officer rushed to help Vipin immediately after the crash.

Vipin Kumar was immediately taken to Manipal Hospital, where he is currently receiving treatment. His condition is reported to be critical.

Local police have registered a case and launched a search operation to identify and apprehend the accused driver. Authorities have assured the public that strict action will be taken against the responsible individual once they are caught. The investigation is ongoing, and further details are awaited.
