The Kerala State Lottery Department announced the results of the Karunya KR-720 lottery draw today, August 23, 2025. The draw took place at Gorky Bhavan, near Bakery Junction in Thiruvananthapuram, at 3 PM. The Karunya KR lottery is one of the seven weekly lotteries held every week.

First Prize Winner

How to Claim the Prize

To claim the prize, winners must verify their ticket numbers against the results published in the official Kerala Government Gazette. Prize claims must be submitted within 90 days of the draw date. For prizes less than Rs. 5,000, winners can claim the money from any lottery shop in Kerala. If the amount is above Rs. 5,000, the winners have to surrender their tickets before the bank or government lottery office with ID proof for the claim.

The winners of the first and second prizes are required to surrender their tickets either in person or via insured registered post to the Director of State Lotteries. Alternatively, claims can be submitted through nationalised, scheduled, state, or district co-operative banks, along with the necessary documents.

Required documents include:

• A photocopy of the winning ticket, self-attested on both sides
• Two passport-sized photographs, attested by a Gazetted Officer
• A self-attested copy of PAN card
• A completed reward money receipt form with an attached revenue stamp
• Valid identity proof such as PAN card, Aadhaar card, voter ID, or ration card
• Bank passbook copy with IFSC code for prize payment

The Kerala lottery department advises prize winners to verify the winning numbers with the results published in the Kerala Government Gazette and surrender the winning tickets within 90 days. The next Karunya Lottery Draw KR 721 will be held on 30/08/2025 at Gorky Bhavan Near Bakery Junction Thiruvananthapuram.
