The latest season of Bigg Boss has begun, and Ashnoor Kaur has been revealed as the first contestant to enter the house. At just 21 years old, Ashnoor is already a well-known face in the Indian entertainment industry, making her reality TV debut.

Born on May 3, 2004, in New Delhi to Gurmeet Singh and Avneet Kaur, Ashnoor began her acting career at the tender age of five. She debuted in the 2009 series "Jhansi Ki Rani," where she played the role of Prachi. In 2010, she appeared in "Saath Nibhaana Saathiya". Subsequently, she gained recognition for portraying Navika Vyas Bhatnagar in "Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha" and its second season.

Ashnoor's career progressed with roles in popular shows like "Bade Achhe Lagte Hain," "CID," and the mythological series "Devon Ke Dev… Mahadev". She played the young Naira Singhania in "Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai," Dushala in "Mahabharat," and Princess Vilas in "Prithvi Vallabh". Her versatility also extends to films, with appearances in Anurag Kashyap's "Manmarziyaan" as Taapsee Pannu's sister and in "Sanju" as young Priya Dutt. From 2018 to 2020, she played Mini Babita/Khurana in "Patiala Babes". After a three-year hiatus, she returned to television in 2024 with "Suman Indori," portraying Suman Sharma Mittal.

Beyond acting, Ashnoor has excelled academically. She scored 93% in her class 10 CBSE board exams in 2019 and 94% in her class 12 exams in 2021. In August 2021, she expressed her intention to continue her studies while balancing her career, planning to pursue a Bachelor of Mass Media (BMM) degree in Mumbai.

Ashnoor's achievements have been recognized with several awards. She won an Indian Telly Award for "Next Generation Star" for "Patiala Babes" in 2019 and was named the Youngest Star of the Year at the Iconic Gold Awards in 2021. She has also received nominations for Indian Telly Awards for her role in "Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha" and "Suman Indori".

With a strong social media presence, boasting 9.7 million followers on Instagram, Ashnoor's entry into Bigg Boss 19 is expected to bring a fresh dynamic to the show. In a recent interview, Ashnoor shared that she wants to win Bigg Boss 19 and become the youngest winner of Bigg Boss.
