Directed by Sujeeth, OG has been creating significant buzz due to its high-octane action sequences and compelling storyline. The film marks Emraan Hashmi's Telugu debut, adding another layer of anticipation as he is set to clash with Pawan Kalyan on screen. Priyanka Mohan plays the female lead, while the cast also includes Arjun Das, Prakash Raj, and Sriya Reddy in pivotal roles.

OG tells the story of Ojas Gambheera (Pawan Kalyan), a feared gangster who makes a mysterious return to Mumbai after a decade-long absence. His return sets off a chain of events, leading to a face-off with Omi Bhau (Emraan Hashmi), a rival crime boss. The narrative is expected to be a blend of intense action, high drama, and gripping crime sequences. According to a leaked plot, Ojas Gambheera resurfaces after vanishing from Mumbai’s underworld for ten years to reclaim his empire and exact vengeance on Omi Bhau.
The film has been granted an 'A' Certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification. The Telangana government has approved a temporary ticket price hike, and special premiere shows are planned. One fan purchased a benefit show ticket for ₹1,29,999 in an auction.
The trailer for They Call Him OG was launched after much anticipation, showcasing the high-voltage action and the face-off between Pawan Kalyan and Emraan Hashmi. The trailer reveals gang wars have begun in Mumbai again, and Omi Bhau is hunting Satya Dada.
