Shefali Jariwala's Death: Husband Parag Tyagi Discloses What She Took Before Her Passing, Reveals All.

The sudden death of actress Shefali Jariwala in June 2025 sent shockwaves through the entertainment industry and left her fans in disbelief. Known for her appearance in the remix track "Kaanta Laga" and her participation in reality shows like "Bigg Boss 13," Shefali passed away at the age of 42. Initial reports suggested a cardiac arrest as the cause of death, but the exact reason remained unconfirmed, leading to speculation and rumors.

Among the circulating claims, one particularly persistent rumor suggested that Shefali's death was linked to taking anti-aging medicines on an empty stomach. Now, months after her passing, her husband, actor Parag Tyagi, has addressed these claims, setting the record straight in a heartfelt podcast on their YouTube channel, "Shefali Parag Tyagi".

Parag refuted the rumors that Shefali had consumed anti-aging drugs in a harmful manner. He clarified that Shefali didn't want to take multivitamins daily because she often forgot, so she opted for monthly IV drips. These IV drips included multivitamins, Vitamin C, collagen, and glutathione, which Parag identified as one of the best antioxidants. He stressed that these were not anti-aging drugs.

Addressing claims that Shefali was fasting on the day of her death, Parag explained that while she did fast for a puja, she ate afterward and later again, emphasizing that she did not go without food entirely. He further highlighted that Shefali's youthful appearance was due to a balanced lifestyle of discipline and self-care, not anti-aging treatments. She controlled her diet but still enjoyed treats like ice cream or Chinese food on Sundays, and she regularly exercised.

Parag urged the public and media to verify information before spreading it, stating he didn't know where the fasting story originated. He also recalled the night of Shefali's death, sharing that he had a premonition something tragic would happen. He had gone to walk their pets when he received a call that Shefali was unwell and struggling to breathe. He rushed home and found her body had given up. Despite attempts to revive her, she was declared dead at the hospital.

According to police officials, Shefali was taking different types of medicines, including anti-aging tablets, and her blood pressure had dropped, possibly from consuming these on an empty stomach. Shefali was rushed to Bellevue Multispeciality Hospital where doctors declared her dead on arrival. An accidental death report has been registered and a post-mortem examination was conducted.
