The premiere of Bigg Boss 19 on August 24, 2025, has already ignited heated discussions and clashes among the contestants. One such argument flared up between Baseer Ali and Kunickaa Sadanand, drawing criticism from Shehbaz Badesha, brother of Shehnaaz Gill.

The dispute between Baseer and Kunickaa arose from a seemingly simple kitchen incident. Baseer inquired about who to ask for an omelette, and Kunickaa replied that he could make it himself, which Baseer found rude. This led to a heated exchange later that night. A promo shared by the makers captured Baseer telling Kunickaa, "Jab tak main aapse badtameezi na karu, mujhse na karein (Until I treat you disrespectfully, don't disrespect me)," to which she retorted, "Badtameezi karne ki koshish bhi mat karna (Don't even try to be disrespectful)". Baseer was also heard yelling at Kunickaa during the argument.

Shehbaz Badesha, who narrowly missed entering the Bigg Boss 19 house after losing a public vote to Mridul Tiwari, didn't hold back in expressing his disapproval of Baseer's behavior. In an Instagram story, Shehbaz slammed Baseer for shouting at Kunickaa. He questioned Baseer's need to shout about everything, asking, "Sirf zor se chillana aata hai toh kya har baat pe chillayega? (Just because he can shout loudly, does that mean he will yell about everything?)". Shehbaz further added that Baseer's behavior, including yelling at Kunickaa and trying to act "oversmart" in front of everyone, "yeh sab uska level dikhata hai (this all shows his level)," and he found it "bilkul sahi nahi laga (completely inappropriate)".

Shehbaz also stated that he never considered Mridul Tiwari as his competition.

The clash between Baseer and Kunickaa, and Shehbaz's subsequent criticism, have quickly become talking points among Bigg Boss fans. Netizens are also curious to see how Shehbaz will react to Baseer's behavior inside the house if he enters as a wildcard contestant.
