Aasif Sheikh, renowned for his role in "Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain," recently shared insights into his bond with Salman Khan and his father, the legendary writer Salim Khan. In a recent interview, Sheikh fondly recalled his visits to Salman's farmhouse, where he cherished spending time with Salim Khan, describing him as an evolved person with an incredible sense of humor.
Sheikh emphasized the respect Salman Khan holds for his father. According to Aasif, despite being a superstar, Salman "doesn't have the guts to speak in front of" Salim Khan and would "fumble" when his father was around. Aasif noted that Salim Khan is a "big critic of Salman" and "says things on the face, never sugarcoats, because his son is a star". However, Aasif also acknowledged Salim Khan as "a big star in his own sense".
During the conversation, Aasif Sheikh shared some of Salim Khan's valuable life lessons. He recalled Salim uncle telling him that "if you want to judge a person, see how old are his friends, his servants, and his phone number are." Another piece of advice Aasif remembered was that "there are two ways of giving something to someone. Either you show off and give or either you hide and give. That says a lot about a person".
Aasif also reminisced about how his friendship with Salman Khan began when their respective films, "Biwi Ho Toh Aisi" and "Yaara Dildara," were released. He considers Salman a family friend and appreciates the respect and affection they share. Aasif revealed that Salman Khan helped him secure film projects during a challenging period in his career. He stated, "I really really appreciate Salman as he got me a couple of good films when I was going through a very rough phase".
Aasif Sheikh also shared anecdotes about Salman Khan's past behavior, recounting an incident where Salman drove recklessly on a footpath and was caught by the police. Aasif humorously recalled advising Salman to remove his shirt so the officer would recognize him.
