As anticipation builds for BTS's confirmed reunion and world tour in 2026, Texas ARMY (BTS fan base) has a special treat in store. Before the K-pop icons embark on their large-scale world tour next spring, fans can relive some of the group's most unforgettable concert experiences through "BTS Movie Weeks". This cinematic event brings remastered versions of landmark BTS performances to theaters across the globe.

From September 24 to October 5, "BTS Movie Weeks" will be held in more than 2,000 theaters across 65 countries and regions. During this time, four concert films will be screened, showcasing key milestones from BTS's incredible journey. The lineup includes:

  • BTS 2016 Live The Most Beautiful Moment in Life On Stage: Epilogue Remastered: This film captures BTS's very first major concert at Seoul's Olympic Gymnastics Arena.
  • BTS 2017 Live Trilogy Episode III The Wings Tour The Final Remastered: This film follows their breakthrough Billboard Music Award win. The 2017 tour made a stop in Dallas.
  • BTS 2019 World Tour 'Love Yourself: Speak Yourself' London Remastered: This film highlights BTS's historic Wembley Stadium concert, where they became the first Korean act to headline the venue.
  • BTS 2021 Muster Sowoozoo Remastered: This film captures the fan-favorite event held to mark the 8th anniversary of BTS's debut.

Each of these performances has been carefully remastered in 4K ultra-high definition and with 5.1 surround sound, giving audiences the feeling of being at the live event, singing, cheering, and sharing the energy with fellow ARMY members. According to BigHit Music, the goal is to offer ARMY another chance to remember and feel those special moments that have defined BTS's story and to connect with fans everywhere by sharing the emotions and energy of the concerts on the big screen.

For Texas ARMY, this event could be a prelude to the excitement of the 2026 tour. While specific cities for the movie screenings haven't been announced, there is hope that San Antonio and other Texas cities will be included. BTS has made numerous stops in Texas, including San Antonio, throughout their career, possibly hinting that Texas fans are in for a pleasant surprise. In July 2025, Jin's #RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR took over the American Airlines Center in Dallas for two nights, and J-Hope visited San Antonio in May 2025.

Tickets for "BTS Movie Weeks" went on sale on August 27. Fans can check the official BTS Movie Weeks website for screening times and ticket information. Tickets for individual film screenings start at $20.

The "BTS Movie Weeks" event precedes BTS's highly anticipated comeback in spring 2026, which includes a new album and a large-scale world tour. All seven members of BTS reunited for the first time since completing their military service requirements and announced they will release a new album in the spring of 2026 that will "reflect each member's thoughts and ideas".

Although the exact dates and locations for the 2026 world tour are still under wraps, it is expected to span major global markets, including potential stops in Seoul, Tokyo, New York, Los Angeles, London, Paris, and Australia.

"BTS Movie Weeks" offers a chance for fans in Texas and across the world to celebrate the group's journey and gear up for their return to the stage in 2026.
