Sparsh Shrivastava, who garnered acclaim for his role in "Laapataa Ladies," is set to star alongside Naga Chaitanya in the upcoming film, tentatively titled NC24. The announcement, coinciding with Shrivastava's birthday, has generated considerable excitement among fans.

NC24 is a mythological thriller with fantasy elements directed by Karthik Dandu, known for his work in "Virupaksha". The film is produced by BVSN Prasad of Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra, in association with Sukumar Writings, with Bapineedu as presenter. The makers of NC24 officially announced the onboarding of Sparsh Shrivastava for the lead cast on Thursday.

While specific details about Shrivastava's role are being kept under wraps, it is suggested that it will be a significant and "path-breaking role". The makers have hinted at a "never before seen avatar" for the actor. This project marks Shrivastava's Telugu debut, adding a fresh and national appeal to the film.

Naga Chaitanya's NC24 is being mounted on a grand scale, with a massive set erected in Hyderabad for the next shooting schedule. The film is touted to be Chaitanya's highest-budgeted film to date, surpassing "Thandel" and "Love Story". A concept teaser, "NC24 – The Excavation Begins," was released earlier, offering a glimpse into the CGI and production design.

The film boasts a stellar technical team, with music by Ajaneesh Loknath, cinematography by Ragul Dharuman, production design by Sri Nagendra Tangala, and editing by Naveen Nooli. Sukumar is credited with the screenplay.

Shrivastava's journey in the entertainment industry began at a young age. He started his career as a dancer, winning the reality show "Chak Dhoom Dhoom" in 2010. He has since appeared in various television shows, including "Balika Vadhu" and "Jamtara – Sabka Number Ayega". His portrayal of Deepak in "Laapataa Ladies" earned him widespread recognition.

NC24 is expected to be released in theaters on October 18, 2025. The film also stars Meenakshi Chaudhary as the heroine. There are reports suggesting that Deepika Padukone, Allu Arjun, Mrunal Thakur, Rashmika Mandanna, and Janhvi Kapoor may also be a part of the cast, though these reports are unconfirmed.
