Dhanashree Verma, the dancer and choreographer, has been in the news following her divorce from cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal earlier this year. In a recent appearance on Farah Khan's cooking vlog, she shared details about her life post-split. Dhanashree revealed that despite a public divorce, things have settled down between her and Chahal, and they are in touch via messages. She mentioned that Chahal used to call her "maa" and that he is "sweet only". This revelation comes after their divorce proceedings, which included controversies such as Chahal wearing a t-shirt with "Be your own sugar daddy" written on it to a hearing. Dhanashree had previously slammed Chahal for the statement.
In the same vlog, while giving Farah Khan a tour of her house, Dhanashree pointed out a painting of love birds made by her grandmother and said she was "manifesting love". Farah Khan responded with surprise, saying, "Firse? Very brave of you,". Dhanashree also mentioned that she is currently enjoying her own space and focusing on multiple things. She also addressed the trolling she faced after the divorce, stating that she doesn't pay attention to it and believes one has to be mature. Dhanashree and Chahal, who tied the knot in 2020, officially divorced in March 2025.
Meanwhile, in other Bollywood news, Shah Rukh Khan and Rani Mukerji, both recent recipients of National Awards, have delighted fans with a surprise dance video.
