Avneet Kaur, a popular Indian actress and social media star, recently shared her excitement about meeting Hollywood icon Tom Cruise on two separate occasions. The encounters, which she described as surreal and a "once-in-a-lifetime event," left her astonished, particularly because Cruise was already aware of her appearance at the Cannes Film Festival.
Kaur, visibly thrilled, recounted her experience in an interview with IANS. "I met him twice, and I can't explain in words what the experience was," she said. The fact that Cruise knew about her Cannes appearance during their first meeting was a delightful surprise. While they couldn't speak much during their second encounter, the experience left an indelible mark on her. "I still can't believe that I got to meet Tom Cruise," she exclaimed.
The actress also shared a memorable photo on her social media platforms from when she met Tom Cruise earlier this year in May, which quickly went viral. In the picture, both are twinning in black and are charmingly greeting with a traditional "namaste" gesture.
The internet was abuzz after Kaur posted a video of her meeting Cruise at the "Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning" premiere in London. In the video, Kaur is seen congratulating Cruise on the film's premiere, to which he responded with gratitude. Cruise also expressed his appreciation for Indian cinema, stating his love for Bollywood films and expressing a desire to work in Bollywood-style productions. Kaur seized the opportunity and told Cruise she would love to be a part of it, and Cruise responded positively.
Adding to the buzz, actress Archana Puran Singh, in one of her vlogs, also inquired about Kaur's experience meeting Cruise. Kaur described it as "magical," emphasizing her disbelief that Cruise recognized her, knew where she was from, what she did, and that she was a dancer.
Meanwhile, Kaur is gearing up for the release of her upcoming film, "Love In Vietnam". This cinematic venture promises to transport audiences back to the enchanting era of old-school romance with its captivating musical narrative. The recently unveiled trailer offers a glimpse into a love story, highlighting both the romance and the ensuing heartbreak between Kaur and Shantanu Maheshwari, the film's lead actors. "Love In Vietnam" is the first-ever India-Vietnam co-production. The film boasts stunning visuals, soul-stirring melodies, and palpable chemistry between the leads. The movie also features Vietnamese actress Kha Ngan, and veteran actors Farida Jalal, Raj Babbar, and Gulshan Grover.
