Actress Kajal Aggarwal has recently addressed and shut down rumors circulating online about her alleged death in a road accident. The false reports, which spread rapidly across social media platforms like YouTube and WhatsApp, claimed she had been seriously injured or had even passed away. These rumors alarmed fans and the film industry, prompting Aggarwal to clarify the situation.

Aggarwal took to her Instagram and X (formerly Twitter) accounts to assure her fans that she is safe and well. In a calm and light-hearted message, she stated that she found the news "quite amusing because it's absolutely untrue". She further added, "By the grace of God, I want to assure you all that I am perfectly fine, safe, and doing very well".

The actress also requested her followers not to believe or spread such false information and urged them to focus on positivity and truth. "I kindly request you not to believe or circulate such false news. Let's focus our energies on positivity and truth instead," she wrote.

Prior to her statement, ETimes reached out to Aggarwal to verify the reports, to which she responded, "I am busy right now and will connect with you later," further reassuring fans of her safety.

The incident highlights the dangers of fake news and how quickly misinformation can escalate on social media. Such rumors can distress celebrities and their families, worry fans unnecessarily, and potentially lead to serious consequences. Several social media posts even falsely claimed that her funeral was being attended. These posts included video clips that allegedly showed her body being carried, although her face was not visible. It was later revealed that the video was from 2023.

Aggarwal, a popular actress in South Indian cinema and Bollywood, recently visited the Maldives with her family. She shared pictures from her vacation on Instagram.

On the work front, Kajal Aggarwal was recently seen in "Kannapa" and "Sikandar". She has several upcoming projects, including "The Indian Story," "Indian 3," and "Ramayana".

Kajal Aggarwal made her Bollywood debut in 2004 with "Kyun! Ho Gaya Na...". She is married to entrepreneur Gautam Kitchlu, and they have a son named Neil.
