The iPhone 17 series has officially been unveiled, and Croma is among the first retailers in India to announce pre-bookings. The lineup includes the iPhone 17, the iPhone Air, the iPhone 17 Pro, and the iPhone 17 Pro Max.

Price and Availability

The iPhone 17 series will be available for pre-order starting September 12th at 5:30 PM IST and will go on sale on September 19th.

Here's a breakdown of the India pricing:

  • iPhone 17: Starts at ₹82,900 for the 256GB model. A 512GB variant is also available.
  • iPhone Air: Starts at ₹1,19,900 for the 256GB model. It is also available in 512GB and 1TB storage options.
  • iPhone 17 Pro: Starts at ₹1,34,900 for the 256GB model. It is available in 512GB and 1TB storage options.
  • iPhone 17 Pro Max: Starts at ₹1,49,900. Storage options include 256GB, 512GB, 1TB, and a new 2TB variant.

Croma is offering in-store pre-booking for ₹2,000 for the iPhone 17 and iPhone Air, while the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max require a pre-booking amount of ₹17,000. Croma has not yet revealed specific launch offers or card discounts.

iPhone 17 Features

The iPhone 17 features a larger 6.3-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display with ProMotion technology, offering an adaptive 1-120Hz refresh rate and up to 3,000 nits peak brightness. The display also has a Ceramic Shield 2 layer for better scratch and crack resistance. It runs on the A19 chip, featuring a 6-core CPU and a 5-core GPU. Apple claims the A19 chip is 20% faster than the A18.

The iPhone 17 has a dual-camera system with a 48MP main camera and a 48MP ultra-wide lens. It also has an 18MP front camera with the Center Stage feature. The iPhone 17 comes in Lavender, Mist Blue, Sage, White, and Black.

iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max Features

The iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max are powered by the A19 Pro chip and have a vapor chamber cooling system. The Pro and Pro Max models feature three 48MP cameras:

  • 48MP Main camera
  • 48MP Ultra Wide camera
  • 48MP Telephoto camera

The iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max will be available in Cosmic Orange, Deep Blue, and Silver.

iPhone Air Features

The iPhone Air is the thinnest iPhone yet, measuring just 5.6mm. It has a 6.5-inch ProMotion display with up to a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 3,000 nits. The iPhone Air is powered by the A19 Pro processor.

Pre-booking at Croma

Croma is offering pre-booking both in-store and online. Pre-orders begin September 12th at 5:30 PM IST. The devices will be available for purchase starting September 19th.
